HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
The Melrose Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the Melrose tradition “Home for the Holidays” will be held on Dec. 2-3.
The Home for the Holidays fun will start on Friday, Dec. 2 on City Hall lawn at approximately 6 p.m. with a tree lighting ceremony, Christmas caroling, and, of course, the arrival of Santa Claus on Main Street.
On Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the Beantown trolleys will weave through the streets of Melrose, bringing shoppers to the neighborhoods of Melrose where the businesses, schools and churches have opened their doors to welcome visitors.
Each neighborhood offers something unique, including: “reindeer” rides, Christmas tree and wreath sales, hayrides with Santa, holiday crafts, wonderful holiday food and warm beverages, and more.
Shops in Melrose will be open as well, ready to greet the holiday shoppers with a broad array of unique gifts. Look for the full schedule of events on the Chamber of Commerce website, melrosechamber.org.
